My history has probably shaped my choices and feelings to a greater extent than I have been willing to accept. I lived a life far from myself , had to become friends with my own story to be able to tell about it.

To take life and history seriously, I have been alone a lot. In the studio, in the mountains and on a small farm in Valdres, and for the first time in my life I took the time to feel - and time to trust that the process was not just about writing and recording, but just as much about what happened inside me.

- Everything is connected. This is the sum of a scrutiny, and to me feels this album as my coming-of-age novel.
